Tell Me About Your Mother
A show about women and history, personal and broad, hosted by journalist Amy Westervelt. Our mothers are often the first women we meet, the first role models we have for what it means to be a woman. For women living today, things have changed so drastically for women from generation to generation that the way our mothers worked, dated, mothered, occupied space in the world is completely different from how we do or how our children might. In hearing the stories of individual women, we get a lens into these generational shifts, a window into what has and hasn't changed for women, and an understanding of what it means to be a woman living today. Past and future guests include Ashley C. Ford, Porochista Khakpour, Dooce (Heather B. Armstrong), Wesley Allsbrook, and Marcella Arguello.
